Nusantara Project Part 1

When Kak Izzah offered me to be among the illustrators for this project, I was honored. The listed illustrators are famous names in the Malaysian illustrating scene.

But I accepted, thinking that I can offer something of value to the project.

During the Festival Sastera Kanak-kanak at Dataran Underground recently, Kak Izzah handed me 4 manuscripts to work on: Kodok dengan Tikus, Ikan Belacak dengan Tupai, Ketua Kerbau, Ayam Jantan.

I immediately worked on it. Here is my illustration:

I also began to work on Kodok dengan Tikus:

I kinda like them (perasan!). At least that's the way I interpret it. 

In November, during the first coordination meeting, those two illustrations were kind  of..rejected.
