My journey to Koh Lipe 8

After the Fajr prayers at around 5:30am, I thought of going back to sleep. But I saw tint of sunrise from the balcony and J thought I should just sit by the beach.
Sunrise over Pattaya Beach

There we no one around except joggers, beach cleaners (no wonder the beach is clean) and also people taking a stroll along the beach.

After my friend went for her diving trip, I just continue to sleep and later woke up to get breakfast. A set of sunny-side up, toasts, jam & butter, hash brown and coffee costs 170 baht.

Then I took a stroll back to the hostel. On my way, I took some photographs and had a quick dip in the clear aquamarine waters.

Then I did some writing and thinking and then back to Walking Street.

Just before sunset, I walked back to the hostel. I guess one of my best experience here was the evening stroll.

Not pretty much happening today.

Later we had dinner at the same place. As usual, I had tom yum and a new dish this time, fish cakes.

My journey to Koh Lipe 7

We have covered two locations of the Sunrise Beach. We are now heading to the Sunset Beach.

The Sunset Beach Archway

This is just outside the pavement

There is a short 5 minutes walk to the beach, inaccessible by the taxi. It was pleasant and the walkways have pink hibiscus planted as canopy.

The Sunset Beach

Obviously it was not sunset yet! But the beach was not as interesting as the other two. Perhaps it is the most gorgeous during sunset.

From another perspective

There were some chalets along the beach, not direct by quite near.

Chalets along the way

We headed to the last location which is the Phuritra Resort.

There were interesting shape chalets along the pathway going to the beach.

You can bet that I'm not going down that stairs.

If you stay at this type of chalet, perched on the hill, you can enjoy the sunset.

I like the paintings on the door of the reception.

Then we headed back to Pattaya Beach.

Along the way, we passed by a
mosque, Alhamdulillah.

Masjid Al-Marhamah

Then he drove us through Walking Street. It was crowded.

After he dropped me off, I walked to Pattaya Beach.

I headed to the Bung Roon Restaurant to buy ice lemonade.

And had a pleasant stroll along the beach back to my hostel.

After freshened up, my friend and I had dinner at Bung Roon.

Stir-fried mix vegetables
Prawns with Petai (bitter bean or stink bean)

Then she wanted to buy the pancake. Actually it roti canai with fillings of your choice. We met a Malaysian guy named Yus who was here for diving and snorkeling.

The sky was quite clear. Before the full moon risen up, there were clear constellations of Orion, Gemini, Taurus and Canis Major.

After doing some reading and writing for my 2016 new children's book line up, I called it a night.

My journey to Koh Lipe 6

After lunch, I just wandered around Walking Street aimlessly. I took some photos in case just for inspiration for future works:

Then, I hailed a motorcycle taxi and asked for a tour around island. The fare was 400 Baht for an hour tour and 4 locations. It was 4:24pm and I still can catch my Asr-Zuhr prayers.

So off we go!

I took lots of photos during the ride so you won't miss a thing.
